Since Superchips introduced the re-chipping process to commercial vehicle operator, many have experienced, either first hand or via enthusiastic reports from colleagues, that 'Superchipping' brings substantial benefits in enabling a trucks power to match the job in hand.

'Superchipping' is incredibly quick and simple. In the majority of cases there is no need to change a chip OR even open the ECU - the chip is reprogrammed via the easily accessible diagnostic port inside the cab.

All development work is carried out in the UK with dyno testing in the UK and European mainland, whilst at all times listening to customer requirements.

'Superchipping' involves reprogramming a truck's electronic control unit (ECU) to offer greater torque, increased power and lower fuel consumption. Power and torque of turbo diesel engines can be increased by as much as 30% and fuel savings of up to 1.5mpg are common.

The extra torque means the driver will need to make far fewer gearchanges, leading to benefits of less wear on both clutch and gearbox and, much more importantly, a huge reduction in the driver's stress levels!
